Getting to Skaneateles
Getting to Skaneateles
Generally, travel from the city will involve taking I-80 to I-81 N - but please do use Google Maps to get to Skaneateles safely. Budget 4-4.5 hours of travel time (not including any pit stops).
Staying at the Sherwood
Accommodation for the weekend will be provided.
Note that check-in on Friday begins at 3pm, and they seem to be a bit inflexible with early check in. Should you arrive earlier, we can put your bags in our room or you can leave them in your vehicle. Pets, unfortunately, are not allowed.
For full hotel policies, please see here.
Car Travel
To get to Skaneateles, it would be greatly appreciated if those with cars could volunteer their space to help those without cars get upstate (ok, poet…)! Rourke and Eric will be departing Thursday afternoon and will be spending Sunday evening with family (returning to the city on Monday). We will be able to use our vehicle once in Skaneateles.
Otherwise, initial (and just to get the conversation going) car suggestions are to the right. Please coordinate with each other to ensure safe arrival into and departure out of Skaneateles.
